7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRoosevelt Elementary is a WONDERFUL school! My grandson came to live with me [unexpectedly] and started the 2nd grade at Roosevelt. He was VERY behind in all his subjects, and yet with special assistance went from reading at barely first grade level to almost third grade level! I always had excellent communication with his teacher. It was almost embarrassing how often I had to email her with questions or update her on situations that were occurring at home. She always responded to me very quickly and kindly. The office staff as well as the school librarian are also very warm and friendly. You can tell the whole school works as a team and a well oiled machine - obviously under the supervision and guidance of their fantastic principal, affectionately known as "Mr. DSK" by the kids. I really can't say enough about this superior school!Parent Review13y ago2 Reviews - Reeves Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe LOVE Reeves Middle School! There are so many opportunities for students to be engaged in extra activities, sponsored by teachers. This helps build our children into well-rounded individuals, allows them to connect with students that they may not be in class with, and build community. There are many teachers who give extra time to help students develop in areas of interest. Because it is a smaller middle school, most of the teachers and staff know most of the students. They can give more one on one attention, cater to individual needs, and specialize their teaching approaches based on student needs. The feeling at Reeves is positive and familial. In the times that I have needed to communicate with staff or teachers, I have been largely satisfied with the promptness and quality of the communication. My son, who is classified as highly capable, chose Reeves over the specialized hi-cap program at a different school because of all that Reeves has to offer. GO RAMS!Parent Review2y ago12 Reviews - Olympia High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is absolutely terrible. I went to their open house where I asked for help for my student, was promised a lot of things, and absolutely zero follow up happened. Now months later we are having issues for things I asked about months ago. They are quick to accuse but not to actually help. I would never recommend this school to anyone. We are pulling our kid for homeschooling. Never again will my kids ever go to this public school.Parent Review7mo ago21 Reviews - Check out schools near 1225 Devon Loop SE.

"Great place to raise a family and take the dogs for a walk at Priest Point park through the rear enterance. We had wonderful neighbors and enjoyed the quiet area that was still close enough to downtown. "

"Family oriented neighborhood with elementary school and playground to use after school. Wonderful bakery with outside seating in a native shady garden and a small family owned grocery store nearby. Ralph's & Starbuck's is 6 blocks away. Close to walk to Mission Crk Watershed park for walking the dog, a few blocks downhill is the bay and across the bay is the boat filled marina, landscaped seating for watching birds and sunsets. Also Reeves middle school is about 6 blocks away through a nice sidewalked neighborhood for walking to school. Easy drive to shopping out in Lacey with Home Depot, Target and many other popular stores. Bike lanes. Natural food store is on the way to Lacey."
