About this House

Look long and hard to find a better price on Mobile Bay. This ½ acre lot has been cleared and some bulk head work completed - there is a wing wall that needs repaired. Over $20,000 was spent to clear the lot and build up the end by the bay, but the repairs are needed due to a dishonest contractor. The property elevation certificate is available to the purchaser - elevation is 16 feet and mostly level with a nice slope to the water. Raynell is just south of the Fowl River Bridge and the Pelican Reef restaurant and bar plus the Fowl River marina and a 15 minute drive to Dauphin Island. It would be difficult to beat the price for 50 ft on Mobile Bay. We are selling at a substantial loss due to our “builder” taking large sums of money and not building. There is a stop work order but the county engineer said that getting a coastal engineer to pull proper permits to finish the bulk heading to coastal standards would take care of that or submit your own plans for approval if you are handy.

We just completed our third year at Hollinger's Island and I just read the conviction of a deacon at the private school where I had my children registered three years ago. Thank goodness I forfeited the $500.00 registration fee and stuck with my instincts. I could not be happier with the preparation my children have received to prepare them for 2nd grade. They are super excited and well prepared for 2nd grade. Thank you Hollinger's Island K-4, kindergarten and 1st grade teachers. The administrative staff, lunch room and anyone I have failed to mention, excellent job!!!!

"Neighbors aren’t very friendly and don’t care about if their pets run freely. I constantly have to watch for dogs to make sure mine don’t get attacked "

"Lived here for 20 years, hated to leave. Great access to water. Deep Sea Fishing the best, scuba diving, swimming, skiing and recreation for the entire family we are all going to miss. "
