"Beautiful classy comfortable clean area. I have always loved this area since i moved in when my kids were toddlers and now im in the process of purchasing my first home there."
  • Trulia User
"I have lived in this neighborhood for seven years and have had no problems. depending on the time of the year, uou can catch a live orchestra playing in West Park. Besides that, there are beautiful buildings and houses along the way. It's definitely a unique neighborhood, and dare I say... beautiful. "
  • Trulia User
"Schools are nearby. Hospitals are close too. The music can be loud here and there but mostly it’s calm and quiet except for thru traffic… we’ve been on Fulton for 1 1/2 years now. It could be better but you get what you pay for really. It’s a decent neighborhood and sub par schools but if you’re active with your kids it will be fine it’s like any city I don’t know how else to explain it. "
  • Trulia User
"I don’t think that dog owners like how small their backyards are. There aren’t dog parks near by. But mostly everyone you run into is a dog person."
  • Trulia User
"Commute is moderate. Busy on the main streets but not on the side streets. Roads are very easy to navigate. Easy to get to popular destinations. Very close to highways. "
  • Chelsea H.
"Sidewalks are covered in trash, not much grass, and poorly lit at night. A lot of dogs walk here but a lot of owners do not pick up after them."
  • Chernandez1019
"I am not a big fan if Allentown. I am looking for a place further into Whitehall . I hope that I am able to find a place. north of allentown is not a good spot"
  • Chino31576
"Most of the homes are owned as opposed to rented which I like because people take more pride in taking care of their property."
  • Chino31576
"Things that I feel that make our community special I would say are the arts in the park, movie nights during the summer and different shows at west park."
  • Rumpleyum
"ive lived here 6 yrs. cant stand it. wanna mived very badly. too much history of violence for me to walk half block to corner store after 6pm"
  • Constanzabruna
"Nice area near park keep in mind you live in the historic area limited to outdoor repairs need to go by what is only approved by the city if even allowed. "
  • Lesley A.
"I been living in this neighborhood for around 12 years nice area not bad kid can play at the park that is close to without a problem secure are so far "
  • Brian M.
"I lived in this neighborhood for almost 2 years good people good atmosphere great energy safe for kids to play around... the only thing is parking isn’t really good."
  • Anntigony
"its close to the library and schools. everything is pretty close and not to far from transportation "
