    "I have lived in the neighborhood on South Main for 3 months...the neighborhood is ok except for the repetitive gun violence that takes place in the area and the drug addicts..If you move in the area beware and keep close watch on your property as there are people that break in your home and steal your property overall the neighbors are nice. And if you have children I wouldn't recommend not a children friendly neighborhood alot of drug activity in the area"

There are some problems however, like inadequate public transportation, as well as a lack of opportunities for younger people. I also wish the city would have been more progressive. Still, if you like a slower paced lifestyle, where people take the time to say “hello,” this might be a great place to settle. "

    "Great area! I’ve lived here for 5 years and never had any problems. Shopping is great and love the fact the I can go right down the street to work out at the YMCA and that I’m 5 mins always from my job. That’s the reason why I moved to Salisbury "
