"It is a great little community that hasn’t been destroyed by the tourist trade yet. It isn’t PCB or Destin and we want to keep it that way. Still holding on to the quaint old town feeling."
  • Pete S.
"Everything within 5 minutes by car. People super friendly with everyone really welcoming. Pace is super slow and casual. "

"Frequent community activities, wonderful area churches, unique relationships and survivorship due to Hurricane Michael. "
  • Limdahillfitch
"I’ve lived here for 3 years, it’s the Mayberry of Florida. Very slow pace and great for us being retired. We love our neighbors and spend most weekends going to hear live music on our golf cart. We can walk across the street to the water and Kayac or SUP. It’s perfect for us. "
  • Katrina D. C.
"I grew up in this neighborhood, raised my kids in this neighborhood, left for a while and couldn’t wait to get back. We live in paradise! I love it here!!"
  • Denzieandjack11
"Beautiful small town that reminds us of back home in Indiana — but with the beautiful Gulf of Mexico in the back yard! Absolutely love it here!! "
  • Mark R.
"Port St. Joe is a fisherman's paradise, a vacationer's hidden gem, and a throwback to unpretentious Old Florida that baby boomers will appreciate. A great place for a second home, but don't expect to find gainful employment yet as the local economy continues to struggle. However, this makes for fabulous deals on housing in the town of Port St Joe and even out on Cape San Blas. Eventually, this area will boom as a result of infrastructure being put in place by the St. Joe Company including the new International airport in nearby Panama City, the new Sacred Hearts Hospital right in Port St. Joe, and the vast Windmark mixed use development which is now languishing but will eventually build out to include hundreds of homes plus golf, retail, commercial and other attractions."
