The lot expands .46 acres! You don't come across a home very often where the original owner has poured his heart & soul into it & taken such loving care of it...from the mature, well manicured, properly placed trees & shrubs, to the way the drains flow outside, to the interior maintenance. There has been carpeting over the hw's the whole time the sellers lived here, so we just HAD to take them up and show you how pretty they are!Lots of windows, many w/deep sills,to let all the natural light stream in! A nice walkway from the d/way leads to the front entrance. The view from the front door looks out to the tree-lined street, Louis Dr,that dead ends to Biddle, so no house directly across the street-just foliage. Extra ducts have been put in to the lower level family rm & extra return vents installed for the CA in the house walls for the 3 BR's. HVAC 2017. New flex-net PECO meter, new pipes, single handle faucets, supply valves, p-trap and 2 new toilets. Foam gutter guards. Six hardwood steps go up to one floor living-- open layout of LR,DR, EIK plus 3 BR'S & 2 BA's.Very convenient!Notice the big picture window in the large LR, which compliments the spacious DR w/double window that looks out back to the expansive, level back yard .A half wall divides the DR & EIK. Here you'll find copper-tiled b/splash ,a side by side fridge w/ice maker, pantry w/louvered doors, electric stove w/vent hood,Whirlpool DW, a microwave, a double stainless sink w/Moen faucet & a window above. The main BR features 2 windows & a deep W/I closet w/pull chain light where you can access the attic space. The main BR bath has a W/I shower w/sliding doors, vanity sink, brown tones of CT & a new toilet. There is a double window in BR's #2 and #3 as well as a double closet. Five steps down from the foyer is the lower level w/wide open family room area, complete w/brand new (7/20) wood-look flooring that is all the rage these days as well as re-insulated drywall. "People on this cul-de-sac know each other and appreciate the proximity to major attractions, while enjoying a deer and a fox now and then. Neighbors are safety conscious and amicable, stopping for friendly chats on their walks during nice weather. A short walk brings you to the YMCA, Downingtown East High School, Lionville Middle and elementary schools, and the LYA youth athletic fields. In the summer time, we can here the distant call of the ball games and in the fall, you can hear the school marching band practicing after school. Multiple generations have lived on the street since the 60's, which gives it an old-fashioned, small town feel. Yards are spacious and well kept and the mix is varied and multi-generational. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else!"
  • Deb K.
"lived here 18 years excellent super quiet close to everything."
  • lrob720
