school is great and academics are amazing.

The school does not follow the TN State Parenting Plan. They gave access to my child's information to a third party and revoked mine. Here is one example as I was trying to fight to get my Power School reinstated. It should also be noted I am disabled and used Power School to have my child's grades emailed to me. Their response was my email account doesn't work. Then I get an email asking for money. What I joke. I can produce everything I have written. The following right I had deprived:Under T.C.A. § 36-6-101 of Tennessee law, both parents are entitled to the following rights:(4) The right to receive directly from the child's school any educational records customarily made available to parents. Upon request from one parent, the parent enrolling the child in school shall provide to the other parent as soon as available each academic year the name, address, telephone number and other contact information for the school. In the case of children who are being homeschooled, the parent providing the homeschooling shall advise the other parent of this fact along with the contact information of any sponsoring entity or other entity involved in the child's education, including access to any individual student records or grades available online. The school or homeschooling entity shall be responsible, upon request, to provide to each parent records customarily made available to parents. The school may require a written request which includes a current mailing address and may cahillmediation.comfurther require payment of the reasonable costs of duplicating such records.
