3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has been bullied/harassed most of the year by different boys. Comes home injured, multiple times. Cuts and bruising. Personal property destroyed. Degraded and she cries most days. Hard to get her to want to go into school. I've reported it several times and they don't take my concerns seriously. Then treat me as if I'm the problem for having to go into the school about the situations. No follow-up and kids aren't being properly held accountable. My daughter has gone to teachers for support during situations of abuse and doesn't get it. Forcing me to go into the school to complain. Then they treat me as if I'm the problem and as if I'm going to hurt them or something. No, I'm a upset parent that was forced to go into your school to find out results. Why is my child coming home injured all the time. Why is my child locked up in a gated school and yet she's still not protected. Why can't I check on my kid while she is there? Why is my kid so stressed and sick to her stomach with the thought of going to your school? She's only 7yrs old and this is her first real school year over covid. Are kids even safe in your school? How can patents trust you with their children when you can't even protect them on a daily. This school has even embarrassed my kid in front of many other students. She had a very good donation for her jog a thon to receive a t-shirt and water bottle. Plus she did 25 laps. She even threw up over them telling her to keep running and not given her water till she was done. Yet, she was the only kid who didn't get a t-shirt and water bottle in her class. Embarrassed my kid for no reason. Made her cry for days over it. Then when I reach out by email I get a nasty email back saying we didn't donate anything. Not true!! They even cashed the check. Another reason I had to go into the school. This is an elementary school and you should be support of children growing and figuring the world out. No kid or person deserves thus type of treatment. Then to make me come in to put my foot down over it due to the lack of communication. It's beyond my understanding. I shouldn't have had to go into the school and say this is wrong and try to her answer. My child was hurt badly by another kid there. This would be about the 7th kid that's hurt her for no reason. Broke something special to her at the same time. The school tried to avoid addressing this situation and don't care to figure out who this kid was that hurt her. This is unacceptable!!!Parent Review3y ago3 Reviews - Whitworth Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI found out today that this school was teaching my son about very innapropriate things that should only be taught to a kid in middle school. He is in 4th grade and they were teaching him about things like mstbating, white fish, periods etc. This is an elementary school. Fix your teaching because kids are being taught this sooner and sooner to the point that eventually preschoolers will be taught about this. Kids are not supposed to grow up so quickly. They should not know these things. Girls knowing about periods and boys knowing about things like voice changes is fine but talking about how babies are made is ridiculous. Update the form and include more detail of what you will be teaching my kid or don't teach about it at all. In the form it says absolutely nothing about teaching our kids about things too detailed and is way too summarized.Parent Review1y ago6 Reviews - Lacreole Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a new student to Dallas High this year, my daughter has found that the classes seem a bit more advanced than the previous school she attended. There is also a greater variety of classes from which to choose, which her other school just didn't offer.Parent Review15y ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near 1214 Garrison.

"This is a quiet safe neighborhood composed of modern homes whose owners have pride in their condition and landscaping. There is a new pocket park with a sidewalk that circles the green space with a solitary newly planted oak tree for a play area. It is named Lone Oak Park at the Perkins Ct cul de sac as entry point with limited curb parking."

"It is a quaint community. A kind of community where we hold the door open for each other. It gives a sense of wholeness. It’s nice knowing how much this city can give. "

"I assume it is because most of your neighbors enjoy seeing dogs and their owners walking about. It makes the neighborhood feel lively. However, recently while walking my dog there was a weird animal that was near the park... it was bigger than the typical raccoon and being new to the area I’m not sure what it would be, just be cognizant of your animals and kiddos."

"Wonderful small town, everything is 5 mins away. Bike riding is easy and fun and we have a great aquatic center. Dallas is 25 mins away from Salem and only an hour from the Oregon Coast or lakes if you head east. Also only an hour from Portland."

"Friendly small town, great for raising kids. We moved here on 2001 and raised our 3 kids. They were active in baseball, soccer, football and track all at a young age through high school. Aquatic center is wonderful for excessive and there are nice walking paths along the river. During the summer on Thursday nights you can enjoy live music during the “sounds of summer”. Love this little big town!"
