  • LAUREN S.
"some blocks are tragically blighted, others are like Cedar Park, others are like Elmwood Park & some are more like Cobbs Creek. A lot of blocks are run down & bleak looking & some are nice . It's a mixture of gritty urban decay, tragic, industrial, and standard urban work class pre-war. There's parks & lots of trolleys & cheap grocery stores in the cut. It's a mixed vibe "
  • Jade R.
"Block parties, birthdays & reunions, politics, bars & cookouts make the neighborhood special & fun & loving!"
  • NikkiCrenshaw

  • T.w
"Great access to trolley and buses. 13 Trolley is 2 blocks over and a few buses G and 52 run not too far away"
  • Sam T.
"There are trolley stops located throughout the neighborhood that make accessing Center City fairly easy. It usually takes 25-30 minutes to reach City Hall. They can be quite crowded during rush hour, however."
  • Genevieve
"All the fellow dog owners are very friendly when you meet them on the street or in the park. It’s a nice way to get to talking with your neighbours. "
  • Sonyarriggs

  • Liz W.
"Great commute. There are 2 buses and 2 trolleys around here. The commute here is good. You have a quick access to center city"
  • Elisa R.
"There are a few people in the neighborhood who tend to walk their dogs without a leash. Some dogs are not even trained properly."
  • Vrajis53
"There used to be a special neighborhood. neighbors were neighborly, they look out for one another, clean the streets together, share special dish of food, a d nosey, which worked in out neighborhood. Some neighbors are watching everything and keep you abreast as to what going on. Now, the young people don't care or just ignorant about family cultures because too many broken families, babies raising babies and they are just a lost generation to care about any neighborhood. "
  • Alea B.
"Not a neighborhood I would want to raise my family in. Wasn’t as bad when I was growing up but some families that have moved here since have diminished the value of the neighborhood "
  • Doreenaevans
"I had very very good neighbors. All the stores were open and the community cared about where they lived. not today there are very few"
  • Tiaya25
"I don't feel like writing nothing about this neighborhood it's okay just a lot of shooting but it's okay"
  • Eric S.
"Wrong area to move in and raise a family... Too much ignorance and disrespectful ppl. It's affordable but can be annoying as well."
  • Jibriylscott
"events st myers playground concerts at the park restaurants PEOPLE kno each other..........................."
  • Www-hana2wi
"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 4 years. I haven’t run into any issues since living here and most of the neighbors are very welcoming "
  • Dawsondinea2
"Nothing, we don’t have community events in this neighborhood that I know about, everyone is pretty much stays to their self until the 4 of July. Then they have a block party and everyone comes out and enjoy their self with music , food, dancing. The kids have the moon bounce and they ride their bikes and dance, run. And play, that’s rrslly the only thing we do in my neighborhood "
  • Denise W.
"I described this neighborhood is mysterious a lot of crackheads to me abandoned houses this neighbor has its ups and downs I see it coming up some they're doing a lot of remodeling homes around so for low income people for a Section 8 goes but you got to be very careful what you rent because you might rent you a an apartment full of mices rodents I see a lot of possums and raccoons so on that note you have to judge it for yourself come live here you'll find out💁💁💁💁💁✌✌✌"
  • Sharedthoughts3@gmail
"I live here all my live the neighborhood has changed a lot here at time it’s crime and crazy stuff happens.. But knowing I just be careful and watch my whereabouts.. "
  • Angelica M.
"I've lived in this area going on two years and I absolutely love it, no one bothers and everyone on the block super nice and to them selves."
