"The entranceway and the style of some of the homes..the ones that are more Southwest style. Like mine for instance. Bright terra cotta with turquoise trim. Xeriscape "
  • Zgharle0131
"In Amarillo it is very common for dogs to be stolen from back yards. People mark your fence during the day then come back at night or when no one is there and steal the dogs for dog fighting/money. As long as you make sure your dogs are never outside when no one is home or at night it should be okay. Just be cautious. "
  • Patrice P.
"Easy to get from one area to the next usually 20 minutes if the flow of traffic is heavy 5 to 10 minutes if traffic is lite"
  • Budpool
"My house is walking distance to a Canyon ISD school. It's safe. It's quite and well maintained. "
  • Joe V.
"Good walking area, 4 parks within walking distance. Downtown is right up the street. Because the Salvation Army is just on the other side of downtown we do get the random weirdo both in the alley and snooping around at night. I personally have only had 2 issues iin 2 years. 1 was someone about to steal a package from my porch. The other was was people parking in the alley in front of my garage. My dogs love to walk in the neighborhood. Harrison st is notorious for having it’s residence blocking the walkway. "
  • Suharmon72
"no events in the neighborhood.......................................................... . "
  • Lola W.
"No commute to speak of because everything is so close in Amarillo. 15 minutes and you can drive from N to S and E to W. "
  • Jarrett&kelli E.
"It’s a newer development on the west side of town. Over off of Soncy. There is a grocery store that is close-plenty of places to eat and shopping."
  • RagDoll
"Lots of people walk their dogs however there seems to be an issue with dogs escaping their yards here. "
  • James H.
"Awesome and friendly neighborhood close to downtown and easy access to everything Amarillo college the mall and other fun activities "
