It’s been 14 years since I graduated from La Salle and I still think about the horrors of this school. I now work in education and got my masters degree at age 22 but I regret my parents sending me here. As someone who now works with students everyday it disgusts me to think about lack of care that the administration, office team and some teachers had for the students. Due to the school being in South LA, there are lots of kids with behavioral issues that stem from poverty, hunger and having to worry about bills at a young age. There was and still isn’t a culture of love and respect for the students and the community they come from. This school has a high turnover of teachers, lack of care from school administrators and a school culture that normalizes bullying. My younger brother unfortunately had to attend La Salle for a few months so it showed me that nothing changed. The amount of bullying and fights that the administration does nothing about makes this one of the worst schools in LA. The school should be torn down. Please do not send your children to this school if you love them.
