"landowner not taking care of property, sewage backed up, water gets turned off with no notice. Running mobile home owners off to cater more to transients. Becoming more and more unsafe."
  • Kirby M.
"Our community is fairly quiet it’s close to the lake and there tend to be a lot of critters that creep in the evenings. But there’s access to a really nice park everything is easily available "
  • Saadia_mansoor
"Friendly people, small town feel, well maintained streets and parks. The property values keep steady, peaceful area."
  • MCGECKOGIRL
"I’ve lived here for two years and love the home I’ve made here and the spacious homesites. We are an equestrian community."
  • Bethany A.
"If you like quiet, friendly and safe neighborhoods, this is the place for you. However if you like parks, recreation and boating this is also the place to be. Lake Lewisville is within walking distance and features several boat ramps and parks. Many families who live here have children, many are retired, some are just starting out. "
  • Luda D.
"Nice are, easy walk to the Arrowhead pak and the lake."
  • Luda D.
"Nice, quiet area neighborhood. Walking distance to the Arrowhead park. Easy commute. Lots of trees."
  • Pete H.
"My family has lived in Hickory Creek for 10 years. We enjoy being close to the lake and the many parks that surround it- but still being close to the city (where I work). There's a lot of "nature" in the area (even some good hiking trails in the state parks), and it makes for a nice retreat in the evenings and weekends. Not a lot of nightlife nearby (though there is Sneaky Pete's), but that hasn't been an issue while raising kids. Now that the kids are out of the house, the wife and I have enjoyed kayaking on the lake, walking through the neighborhood, and discovering more restaurants in Denton and towards Dallas. The I-35 construction hasn't slowed my trip to work as much as I feared- and when it is done, Hickory Creek will be even "closer" to Dallas."
