It got to the point that I felt like the other school was bullying him so I transferred him to Slater. It a matter of weeks he went from not wanting to go to school and failing to loving school and thriving. The teachers are caring, easy to talk to and to contact, and truly make learning enjoyable. They take the time to help students understand and feel confident in what they’re learning. There are also lots of fun activities and opportunities for students to get involved, which really helps them grow and feel part of the school community.I don’t know the principal personally, but he has a great presence and is always very nice to kids and parents. Since attending this school, my child has gained so much confidence and really enjoys going every day.
