As a taxpayer in the district, I am apalled at the nepotistic hiring practices of this district. We have had many highly qualified teachers and administration candidates who were overloked to give the jobs to relatives and friends. I believe the hiring should be done on qualification, not relationship to a board member or administrator.

"I wish there were more nice, walkable sidewalks. most sidewalks are crumbling and will randomly stop at long patches of dirt, even on the main roads. "

"olyphant is not the best place to raise kids, but also not the worst. safe, but not much to do and there are hardly any sidewalks to even take a walk. "

"Less than 10 miles to all nearest malls . Work , etc . Very little traffic done construction in summer months "

"Olyphant is a nice and peaceful town. A lot to offer in the downtown area. Extremely close to all the amenities of a city but still has a nice suburban feel. The neighborhoods seem to be friendly."

"Throop is a safe town with little crime and low taxes. The roads are always taken care of (potholes, snow, etc.) unless the road is a state road. I grew up here my entire life and am very happy with it. I still live here and and now considering buying a house of my own. "

"lived here for years and there's always new things to drive around to see like a road you never drove down or a street that you didn't know existed most of the homes are lovely looking and a lot of parks for children to play and keep busy "
