2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBeen having issues with this school since the beginning of the year. My son was paired with a teacher on their first year of teaching that grade. Despite dozens of communications to them trying to assist my child since it was their first year in school since before COVID I was met with resistance every step of the way. Had a meeting with the administration in January and was told of our options moving forward which the teacher did not do. A majority of the work is apparently done on the computers, and goes way to fast for my child to keep up. I informed the staff that I can’t help him if the work doesn’t come home and their resolution was that they would print the work off the computer to come home. Teacher wasn’t printing off work and again, despite multiple phone calls I was ignored. Today with 28 days of school left, I’m told that a computer could come home and could always have come home. Yet this information wasn’t given to me when it would have been helpful (at the meeting at the beginning of the semester). Their communication is horrible, and they encourage their teachers not to communicate to the parents. Will be filing a complaint with the superintendent (again) because after taking the proper channels the school is continuing to fail my child in their education. Us parents are out children’s advocates and the school doesn’t like that one bit.Parent Review3y ago12 Reviews - Hesperia Junior High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son was a student at Hesperia junior high school and the things he told me that went on at the school is crazy fights that don’t even get broken up that the teachers don’t even find out about kids selling drugs and other things that the teachers and staff have no clue about which is so crazy to me I had to remove my son from this school it sad the lack of supervision they seemed under staffed and not to mention the vice principal is very rude. Didn’t even let me speak when I was trying to talk was talking over me. I had to ask if I’m able to speak because she did not let me get a word in. Parents I would not recommend this school if you care about your child’s education.Parent Review6mo ago9 Reviews - Cypress School Of The Arts

The principal assistant is also not supportive at all! The school’s ratings is coming down obviously!Parent Review6mo ago50 Reviews - Check out schools near 11868 1st Ave #2.

"Although the roads are not well maintained and are known for lots of patchy pot holes, the parks are well maintained and the area I live in is rural. This allows us to have more space in our yard and we are able to keep chickens. We have lived here 3 years and love this area. "

"This place is perfect if you like to be isolated otherwise there are no sidewalks people are constantly speeding Through residential areas making it very difficult to go for a walk there's no street lights so once it is sunset there's no lay outside other than for your porch light in other ways impossible to stay safe and go for a walk after sunset additionally even if you do get to go for a walk and take that chance the gates are always open and you will be chased by dogs "
