Overall CVHS has staff and teachers that want your student to succeed. Teachers are willing to help students staying after or coming early, and granting additional time on assignments when requested. Some kids don't care to be at school or doing work & are disruptive. That needs to be addressed more, but if parents don't care, there isn't much the school can do either. CV has better teachers and academics than Cedar (as I have been told by students who attended Cedar or both). Some problem teachers left recently so hopefully more improvement.

It's a good school, but there are better choices out there. Enoch's shining star is that they are able to tout great test scores. But I don't feel they are balanced at all in child education, and those great test scores don't seem to be giving the kids a better advantage over the other local students by the time they reach middle and high school. Would love to see science and writing not be treated like an elective "if we have time," and relax on the all time consuming homework. Compassion, unity in differences, and leadership for youngsters would be great to see implemented more. Soft skills have been proven again and again to be some of the most valuable skills a person can have by the time they graduate. I don't see those being developed at all at this school.
