"I love the neighborhood I’ve lived here my whole life and it’s pretty quiet and comfy. You have plenty of places to fish and walk but unfortunately nothing much to eat around here "
    • Leannalen
"Nice and quiet and friendly quick store runs no buses need a car close schools very good for retirement "
    • Gina M.
"there are many great places to eat and nice clean parks. friendly neighbors and its quite and peaceful"
    • Michaelle N. B. R.
"It’s a small quiet town. Not much to do in town but only a 45 minutes to an hour drive to a city with things to do. "
    • Sally M.
"There is an adorable dog park right across from the WinnDixie on Hwy 17. I see cute little puppies there all the time. We also have the excellent Crescent City Animal Health Center with an amazing doctor and wonderful staff. "
    • Dawn C.
"People walk dogs all the time. Some with leashes and some without, but speeding traffic is bad in my neighborhood "
    • Barbara F.
"One of the most beautiful and underutilized areas in Florida. Crescent City sits on the fifth largest lake in Florida, Crescent Lake. There are 5 parks in a 2 mile radius, ans 3 public boat ramps. Zip night life; but Deland, Ormond Beach, Palm Coast, and Daytona are a 40 minute drive away. It is a wonderful place to live if you want to retire or can work from home. Crescent City has its' own police force, fire department/EMT, Putnam County offices, gas/water/sewer dept."
    • Ann M.
"I love to stroll along the sidewalks that go along Crescent Lake in downtown Crescent City. It is so peaceful and quiet with big old oak trees and stately historic houses. The downtown area is well maintained showing pride of ownership. I love to eat at the waterfront restaurant 3 Bananas and watch people fishing at the public boat ramp. Plenty of night life w.karaoke bars, Eagles, Moose, and various restaurants and bars close by. Crescent Lake is famous for it's bass fishing and you can get to the St. Johns via big Dunns Creek which gives you intracoastal access."
    • Ogg
"the cost of public water is very very high plus the area used to be for snowbirds but many fulll time owners are no involved"
