If I could give zero stars, I would. My son was constantly bullied at this school, and the principal John Mann, told me this exact quote, “I have no bullies at my school.” He refused to admit that there are lots of bad and mean kids. Maybe he thinks it’s a reflection of his leadership, or maybe he just didn’t want to deal with it, but either way he made me feel like me and my son were the problem for reporting bullying and for expecting him to do something about it. He would defend the bully’s by saying “ they have never been a problem” or “they are good kids.” Well, their bullying my son proves otherwise. My son also told me about how John Mann would be on cafeteria duty during lunch and he would be playing in his phone the whole time while my son and other kids got bullied literally right in front of him. I guess playing on his phone is more important than the safety of students. The best thing I did was take my son out and homeschool him. My son is thriving now, and he is safe and protected, which he never was at Sulphur Intermediate School. I recommend either taking your child to another school district, or homeschool.

Constantly got in trouble for downright stupid reasons, direct quote from principal, "I don't care what you have to say about the situation, all that matters is what the teacher said." This caught me off guard, I had no room whatsoever to defend myself. All in all, not worth going to this school
