  • Rod Passmore
"There is a lot of traffic in the area. I wouldn’t risk taking public transit with my life. So waiting in traffic is fine I guess."
  • Dru Enriquez
"Relatively safe, there is wildlife so do not recommend animals out at night unsupervised. I personally don’t have a good neighbor but other people around me do "
  • Gatblue
"There are Lots of close areas to walk your dog. This is a dog friendly community. There are not a lot of close by groomers. Most houses have decent sized backyards for your dog to run around. "
  • Jamiecessar
"They would love all the places to walk around and all the beautiful trees! There are parks and lots of paths and open fields. "
  • Amberwetmore72481
"My neighborhood has great access to Denver & Boulder. It has a great sense of community & always decorates for holidays. "
  • Dsmith.throwaway1
"I work from home. But previously my commute was short because there were a lot of backroads I could take to get to interlocken business park. "
  • RJ Gomez
"I work from home. The kids go to school off of I 70 and Wadsworth so it is a bit of a challenge going down Wadsworth into Arvada."
  • Rnymvmndt7
"Easy access to highway across the street from Costco. Tons of Shopping and food options. Safe neighborhood"
  • Trulia User
"Wolf Run Park and Little Dry Creek trail are great for dog walking. An off-leash area would be great."
  • Amberwetmore72481
"Traffic can be heavy at times during morning and evening hours. There are plenty of bike lanes and paths. "
  • Jessica Muniz
"It’s a pretty great area for families and the Westminster dog park is the best. Wadsworth can be busy and congested a lot of the time but everything you need is close by."
  • Joanna Akhbari
"I live in a quiet neighborhood where everyone is your family and treats you as such once they get to know you. Just make sure not to knock on there door everyday for sugar and not offer them any sugar back when you have some. The lady that lives across from me, she bakes some great Christmas goodies, the old man was helping my neighbor clean up our yard and saw me twitching in my sleep. Made sure I was ok. We’re about to move and I’m going to miss my neighbors dearly. "
  • Trulia User
"Decent. Some traffic in the morning and evening but not terrible. Although heavy traffic when the schools let out"
  • Trulia User
"Neighborhood potlucks, lots of neighbors out walking and waving to each other, lots of neighbor kids playing together"

"There are train track a block away and despite having lived here for two years I still wake up in the middle of the night from the train sounding it’s horn despite the crossing having gates. It sucks!"
  • Zzetteshive
"It’s a okay place to live. Be careful what you leave outside unsecured, young boys thinking they’re cool stealing stuff at times. Close to interstate & shopping. Mountains etc. "

  • Amy Greene
"I absolutely love the Stratford Lakes area. The neighbors are so friendly and outgoing, and the area is gorgeous and well kept. Also, as a single female, I was very comfortable walking in the neighborhood and in College Open Space at night. (Just watch out for coyotes if you're walking with a dog. They'll follow you but can easily be scared away with yelling, clapping, and jingling your keys.)"
  • Marlyk23
"I have lived in this neighborhood fir 5 treats and have enjoyed its convenience if location. I am moving to a private residence - so tired of the spat complexes INLY because there are a few who take no pride in living in apts as their home,ie, throw cups and other trash in the parking lots or shrubs, don’t clean the after their dogs, talk loudly on phones on their patio with no respect for others living close by, etc. I have also had some great apt. neighbors here ."
