5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is absolutely HORRID. I only know TEN both-way respect teachers, none of them being the principal. The subs are subs for a reason, one of them saying racist stuff and accusing kids of being on their phone when they aren't. Another one treating mentally disabled children horribly. And even some teachers don't know the rules of the school itself! They say that this school values and respects their students, but for most of the teachers and subs, it is completely incorrect and irrelevant to them, not even stopping bullying or providing support to those struggling. If you know what's good for your child, DO NOT ENROLL THEM HERE. It has personally ruined myself and my friends mental health, the school being one of the main reasons for our depression. Again, DONT ENROLL YOUR KID HERE!Student Review1mo ago23 Reviews - Mariner High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter attended Discovery School from kindergarten through 5th grade. I consider it a true blessing that she had the opportunity to be part of this school community. The teaching staff and administrators at Discovery excel in various aspects, including education, special education, family engagement, and student safety. Throughout her time at the school, my daughter never encountered condescension or any negative judgment regarding her learning abilities. The school consistently places all children as their top priority and provides the essential social and emotional support required in today's society.Parent Review2y ago11 Reviews - Check out schools near 11726 7th Ave NE.

"Very little, the city doesn’t maintain much of anything outside of green space. The downtown area is the prominent spot for all the happenings Everett has to offer."

"Dog owners would like for dog owners to pick up after themselves when taking their dogs out to relieve themselves. They would not like if they do not practice proper dog etiquettes. "

"Just 2 blocks from county jail and mental health facilities. lots of transients. Had our vehicles broken into and had a man try to get in my daughter's 2nd floor bedroom. We no longer feel safe."

"If I took public transit this neighborhood would be great. There’s a bus stop around the corner. If I rode a bike it would also be great to get downtown Everett or to the Sounder. Easy side streets to navigate. I drive only 15 minutes away so I’m not the best judgement"

"We drive and have no knowledge of community transportation. The neighbors are friendly and dog friendly. There are plenty of things for families todo together and they seem to be happy. Our community all seem to have their own transportation for the most part. There are buses but I have little or no information on their reliability or anything."

"A lot of transients in the area. Therefore there is a lot of garbage and broken glass around. Probably due to the jail being located in the middle of town and many shelters and such in the area. Also, the town seems to lack adequate lighting in the neighborhoods. "
