Description

Welcome to Newbridge, a tucked-away Reston community in the South Lakes area where mature trees, quiet streets, dedicated parking, and the pathway lifestyle make everyday living feel a little more elevated, and where this gorgeously renovated 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home delivers the kind of true move-in-ready finish buyers rarely find. Every inch has been redone with a designer-clean look and smart, functional upgrades, including engineered hardwood throughout, brand new carpet on the stairs, fresh paint from top to bottom, and all new hardware for a crisp, cohesive feel. The main level is the heart of the home, completely reimagined to create an open, airy layout that connects the kitchen, dining, and family room so it lives the way people actually want to live now, perfect for entertaining, holidays, or just a relaxed night at home. The kitchen is the showstopper with brand new stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops with a full quartz backsplash, all new soft-close cabinetry, and a true pantry with pullout storage that keeps everything organized and out of sight. All 3.5 bathrooms have been fully renovated, including the powder room, with new toilets, vanities, flooring, tilework, lighting, updated fixtures, and sleek shower niches that give the home that high-end custom feel, while the primary suite feels like a retreat with a private balcony and a spa-inspired primary bath featuring a dark wood dual vanity, new mirrors and lighting, new flooring, and a beautifully retiled shower with all new fixtures. Recessed lighting and new fixtures throughout keep everything bright and polished, and practical details are handled too with a new washer and dryer and excellent storage, including a lower-level storage room with shelving. With three fully finished levels, the space is flexible and generous, including spacious bedrooms and an expansive rec room that’s ready for movie nights, game days, a gym setup, or a second living space, plus plenty of storage to keep life feeling uncluttered. Outside, the lifestyle gets even better with a brand new deck off the kitchen and a huge, private backyard with a newly installed privacy fence backing to trees, creating a luxe, tree-lined backdrop that feels like your own natural screen. Big-ticket items are already in place, including HVAC and AC replaced about two years ago, a hot water heater about one year old, and a roof approximately 8 to 9 years old. The location ties it all together, minutes to Reston National Golf Course, walkable to the community pool, and close to everything that makes Reston so magnetic, including Reston Town Center, the energy of Reston Station, and the Silver Line at Wiehle-Reston East Metro with dining, shopping, and continued new development reshaping the corridor, giving you the best mix of established neighborhood charm and modern convenience. As part of Reston Association, you also get access to 15 pools, 55 miles of trails, numerous parks, 4 beautiful lakes, 52 tennis courts, 18 pickle ball courts, a variety of community events and programs throughout the year, including festivals, concerts, workshops, and social gatherings, several community centers, including the Reston Association's main headquarters, the Walker Nature Center, and the Lake House at Lake Newport, which offer spaces for community meetings, classes, and special events.

  • douglasvaughn
"This is a quiet, beautiful area that is well kept. 6 minute drive (1.1 mile) from the Wiehe-Reston Metro Station and Dulles Toll Road. Really close to two lakes, parks, South Lakes Shopping Center, and Reston Town Center. With so many companies moving to Reston, this neighborhood is in a prime location."
  • Zenseeker
"Just ok. Area smrlls. Lots of dead wood sround. Lots of mold and fungus. "
  • kelly
"I live in this area and love the short walk to South Lakes Shopping Center, which has everything from great fast food (Starbucks,Chipotle,Subway, Cafesano) to nicer restuarants, including a new one opening fall of 2014. Also it has a nice pet store, large grocery, CVS, and several other shops. The new Silver Line Metro stop is only a one mile walk and, like the walk to the shopping Center, takes you by the beautiful lakes. If you have a dog, like many people on Beaver Trail Ct., there is a large wooded area with dog walking trails and doggie stations at each entrance. The people are very friendly around here and there are so many groups to join. This area caters to the active adult/family lifestyle. Reston has a huge bike club and running club. The condos at Nantucket (Beaver Trail Ct.) have a cummunity dock on Lake Audubon from which to launch your Kayak, Canoe, or stand-up paddle board. The Reston Triatholon is also held on this lake every fall. I always enjoy paddling to the swimming pool located near the boat ramp, swimming for a couple of hours before paddling back to the Nantucket dock. The area has an amazing number of trails for hikers, bikers, and horse back riders, some paved, some not. Many connect to the WO&D Trail, which goes to Vienna, Falls Church, and DC (via the Custis spur) in one direction, and Reston Town Center (too much nightlife, too many stores, and too many festivals to mention), Herndon, and out to Loudoun County in the other direction. My friends and I used to bike from Reston to Leesburg, then connect with the C&O canal tow path and go all the way to Shepherdstown, WV, spending the night along one of the many camp sites that the C&O has every five miles. When I travel, which I love to do, Dulles International Airport is only 10-15 minutes away. I love this part of Reston and I don't think I will ever live anywhere else."
