"Many people walk their dogs in Lynnwood, and the sidewalks & walking paths are dog friendly. People do pick up after their dogs & people are friendly to dog walkers!"
    • E. Joaquin Justice
"There doesn’t appear to be real sidewalks for walking dogs. It appears to be unsafe for walking on side streets especially at night time."
    • Britt
"Too many people. Nobody can drive. There’s always traffic even at 1am. Takes forever to get anywhere nowadays. Maybe if more people used public transportation there would be less cars on the road. "
    • Charlotte Richmond
"I don’t know I don’t own a dog. I imagine the wide sidewalks in some areas are nice for walking a dog"
    • Trulia User
"A lake open to the public is just across the street. Recreational water sport allowed, eg. Paddle Boarding, Kayaking. No motorized water vehicles allowed. "
    • Trulia User

"From what I can remember about the area is that it's close to the mall where there's a lot of loud distracting noise. "
    • Trulia User

"164th is always busy. if you're trying to get to the freeway during rush hour then you'll be waiting at each light for a while."
    • Royfpersson
"North Lynnwood has plenty of Open spaces. Lots of other dog owners. Plenty of dog parks. Mostly families that own dogs. "
    • Debbiedothis2
"Only two ways into this area for my commute both are clogged during rush hour. County keeps approving building permits but does not do anything about the traffic issue"
    • Devin W.
"Lots of trees in the neighborhood, kinda tucked away from the city but also pretty close to everything. It is a nice little suburb but the houses are not too terribly close together. "
    • Shannon.atty
"convenient to shopping areas. I live in an apartment building next door to the building where I worked until just recently. So I had no problem with the commute."
    • Brandon S.
"You would like it many parks around normally a pretty good sized back yard through alderwood and many parks accepting dogs close by"
    • Sen-ting T.
"Convenient area with malls, grocery shopping, restaurants. Parks are around with many parking space. I live in a rental apartment complex and I feel pretty safe with good community service."
    • Peterjuhlin1
"Public transportation is great! The commute to and from Seattle can be terrible though. Lynnwood is diverse like most communities though. Some good areas and some not as good areas. Over all however this is a nice middle to upper middle class area. "
    • Cbreezio648
"There are quite a few public parks around to take your dog to that would be a decent spots for you to go to"
    • Amygrneye1966
"It’s close to everything!! The location is convenient and Mill Creek Town Center is within a good walking distance."
    • Will A. K. F.
"Great area for a family. Quiet and safe feeling on our street. Nice routes to walk dogs or kiddos. Parks nearby"
    • Resident
"Road is very busy, cars race. Transients living in the green belt. People living in their cars on the side of the road until we call the police. I would never let my kids walk the road of 48th."
    • Fatlandfatty
"The neighborhood isn’t that bad, kids play outside and people are friendly. I’ve lived here for the last 10 years and haven’t had any major issues, "
    • Maacpa
"There are a lot of residents out walking with their children or pets, which makes for a safer neighborhood. "
    • Elizabeth V.
"Lynnwood is a great place to live! Everything is within walking distance from where I live, even the mall. The people are friendly, and the commute isn’t bad at all. "
    • Scott B.
"None. That’s the problem. But this location is not really a neighborhood. One end of the street is a transient community college. The other end dumps into 99 where there are mostly car dealerships. Gentrification is just starting with a couple people offering about $500k per house and slowly converting to new apartment / condo developments. A third of the street is a car lot, then a 30yr old cheap, ugly, low-income, 70 unit rental. In 10 years, the area will look completely different than the dirty unkempt mess it is now that nobody takes responsibility for."
    • Kristiehatton
"people drive really fast up streets be aware and dont let your kids outside near road . also coyotes are out at night. keep kids and pets indoors."
    • Nathan S.
"The individual neighborhoods are great places to raise a family, though there are a few spots that are questionable. Every once in a while, a suspicious character walks down the street, and there are a lot of semis and RVs camped out on Manor Way. Overall a good place to live."
    • Marcela L.
"4th of July fireworks and garage sales. Near to a beautiful and family friendly lake where all summer the community enjoys to cool down in there. "
