They do not protect the students at mapleton elementary school , at least the ones who need it!! My son on his last day of school at Mapleton a couple months ago before we switched him to homeschooling he was continuously bullied for the past 4 years by the same bully and his mother works at the school and the school is protecting the mother and the son rather defending each student and protecting each student they will do nothing to correct the behavior they don't let you know what they're going to do they don't tell you anything. They told us they would check in with our son twice a day to make sure that my son could still continue to learn without this boy harassing him and the principal only checked in with him literally 3 days after we yelled at her and that was it the rest she never checked on him again. At lunch and recess the bully continually threatened violence against my son.We have talked to the office about it we have talked to the elementary principal about it I have put in a note to the high school attendant principal to look at the situation as well but she is lazy and won't contact us back or do anything about it as well. This is absolutely the last year that I made my son go because this school does not care about anything and my daughter will not go there either! They are terrible terrible teachers and principles. I can only say there's only about three good humans and that's it! The rest you can actually tell they've been teaching for too long and they just hate their job so they don't teach the children correctly. They are absolutely mental sick at this school !! DON'T GO HERE !! Highly dangerous environment your children do not get taught well my son is 10 years old and he is so far behind because the teachers have lied about everything and they honestly do not care!

A couple good teachers, not effective to an overall good academic experience. Good students and well adjusted people will find it a nightmare.
