9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageReview for Williamsburg elementary in geneva.I appreciate the effort Williamsburg Elementary school puts into creating an inclusive environment, but recent restroom policy changes have left some students feeling uncomfortable and unheard. A biologically male student who identifies as female is now using the girls’ restroom, and several young girls have come home upset, feeling their privacy is being overlooked. One student even confided in a trusted adult about her discomfort, only to be told she should leave the restroom if she felt unsafe. This response is deeply concerning, as all students deserve to feel secure and respected—not just some.A simple, fair solution would be a unisex, single-stall restroom option. This would allow all students to have a space where they feel comfortable while maintaining privacy for everyone. I urge the school to find a balanced approach that respects the needs of all students and keeps parents informed.Other Review1y ago4 Reviews - Geneva Community High School
