"The commute to Portland is horrific. If you live here you should work here and not across the river unless you enjoy activities like slowly poking yourself in the eye with a sharp stick. If you are working anywhere in West Vancouver (including downtown) I would say it’s a pretty quick trip. "
  • Brandi C.
"Quiet neighborhood with well-kept yards and friendly neighbors. I'm not aware of any community events, but Klineline Pond and Salmon Creek Trail are very close and great spots to interact with the community."
  • Brandi C.
"Easy access to both I-5 and I-205 makes commuting very easy. Hazel Dell and Highway 99 are good alternatives and generally no traffic."
  • Brandi C.
"Quiet area with good access to both interstate I-5 and I-205. It's safe and many people walk after dark. Neighbors are quiet and mostly keep to themselves, but are friendly if you engage with them. "
  • Trulia User

"Dog owners would like the trails and neighborhoods nearby to be able to wall their dogs. I don’t know of any close by dog parks though "

"The local area is great but hard to get to without a car. Recent spate of car breakins and trash bin rummaging but it’s not common. Mostly safe. "
  • Hollandbear1231
"Lots of dogs off the leash around the apartments. People do NOT pick up usually after their dogs. There is also a lot of fighting. Always have police patrolling but there's a lot of domestic fights."

"Location, location, location! This area in Vancouver is (in my opinion) the best area to live in. The number one rated schools are within walking distance. Within a mile and a half are both the I-5 and the I-205 freeways, so if you work off either freeway, this area will be convenient for you. There are stores and parks also nearby. So many people walk (also their pets), and jog. This is such a safe and great area to live, whether you're married, partnered. You'll love it!"
  • shawna d.
"We've raised our family here for 18 years and the experience has been excellent. Park located across the street, friendly neighbors, nice homes with well-kept yards. The nearby schools are some of the best in Clark County. Close to shopping, restaurants, bus Park and Ride, easy freeway access."
  • John A. C.
"Lived here 17 years with excellent neighbors, park close by, and shopping short drive or walk away. Quiet culdasac"
