"There are some safer areas very close to unsafe areas. Higher crime. Neighborhood watch signs. Children need to be monitored for safety and surveillance. "
  • Donna Lee
"There are few to no sidewalks. Not safe for bike riding, unless children are supervised. About 10 minutes from groceries. Minutes away to both the 81 and 26 highway. Large Christian Church in the developmental stage of build within walking distance. Friendly neighborhood with many children of all ages. "
  • Monica

Moved across state line to VA, and made a huge difference in the community, people, and neighborhoods. Much nicer just across the state line"
  • Ryan J.

"Fifteen minute commute. Best feature of neighborhood. No real traffic. Need a car to get around. Not really about to ride your bike to work."
  • Chad H
"I work downtown. The commute to downtown is only 15 minutes and traffic is light. People typically drive in this area and there is very little public transportation. There are bike lanes downtown and the Greenbelt links up so if you live near the Greenbelt you could ride a bike to work if you work downtown."
  • Melibellecasto
"The town of Gray is just 5 miles away. There are fast food restaurants and a grocery store in Gray. The cities of Kingsport and Johnson City are just miles away also."
