I go to this school,pretty good,I'm in 6th grade but smarter than everybody,anyway,have a good day!

I’m a previous student here (I recently switched to online through somewhere in twin-cities), and the bullying is ridiculous. I basically got bullied out of the school. They don’t do ANYTHING about it. And they punish you based off of your last name no matter of what someone does. So you get off with a punishment based off of how much they like you and who your relatives are. One person will get 1 day of ISS for the same thing another gets out of school suspension for 7 days. You/Your students are NOT safe here. The last 2 years (when I was still there) there were several fights a week. (And I’m not talking verbal here.) A lot of them were for zero reason. Some of the innocent people getting seriously hurt. It’s not like this is a school with thousands of kids per grade either. I’m talking WWE style throw-downs in the middle of the hallway (only the fights here aren’t staged). The person who started it and the other who did nothing get the same punishment. Yes, even if you’re 100% innocent.Bulling damages mental health all around. But then they don’t give support for those getting bullied. Sure they have a Social-Worker, but not much gets done. They sweep it under the rug. As a matter of fact, the teachers care more about the students compared to the administration & those running the school. The teachers are willing to take time out of their day because they actually care about the students’ wellbeing (I know from personal experience). They also put their athletics above all the rest. There are groups. Then they treat you as what you are. Not an athlete, you’re basically irrelevant.Rumors and rumors galore. Can’t forget about that.The only good things I have to say is they have an AMAZING art & music program, and AMAZING teachers. The teachers are great, they accommodate students and what they need to learn best. (Example: If you struggle with reading physical books, they’re willing to let you have the audio-version.) You can tell they’re passionate about teaching. SO many art classes, plus Band, Orchestra, and Choir. Those are great.But, there’s only so much teachers can do. I could hear yelling from other classrooms, and I got yelled at every day for things I didn’t do. All because the students are THAT bad. In EVERY grade.Summary: Don’t go/send your kids here unless you’re/they’re an athlete or blend in with the crowd. Because otherwise you’re/they’re bound to get bullied, punished for things you/they didn’t do, etc. Take this as you will.
