My daughter went to this school a few years back and now they're blocking reviews on Google maps. I'm a certified Google reviewer with beta and editing privileges, I shouldn't be kept from leaving a legitimate review on a school. My daughter was bullied, her stuff taken, and told that if she didn't have a boyfriend she couldn't be friends with the 'cool' kids. This is a typical theme for this school. I know because my mom, aunt, and uncles went to this school along with myself. The elementary is incompetent and just doesn't care about kids they don't personally know or have a reason to be caring towards. My daughter was put on the wrong bus more than once and no one could tell me where she was for a while and instead of trying to be reassuring they just kept saying "it's not my fault, I'm just following orders, idk" EVERY ONE I talked to said that. There was also a day that her teacher decided to just "take her word for it" and put her in the pickup line when she was supposed to be on the bus. One day that this happened my mom had to pick her up and they didn't even ask my moms name, they just leaned out the door and ushered my daughter to her without making sure who she was or that she was allowed to pick her up. On my daughter's first day back after the covid homeschooling stuff no one helped her to her class and she ended up locked outside in the middle of the freezing weather, crying, till another student noticed her and let her in. When I brought up these concerns, along with other personal matter concerns, I was blown off and given the stereo typical "oh, we don't do that" or "well, that's not legal" like, no duh, I know it's illegal but that doesn't stop criminals! Needless to say, after that we switched to homeschooling and will never put the kids in this school.

This is a good little school for the small town of Bald Knob.
