6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think this High School is a good H.S. My child is a 9th grader and has had some great teachers so far that has answered all my questions and respond to emails very quickly. The only thing I didn't like was at first I wanted my child switched out of a class after the 2nd week of school and they told me they don't like switiching students out of the class they rather try to resolve any issues and all come together to work on the needs. I don't like that approach because that gets unnecessary people involved with something that is none of their business and sometimes it can cause teachers to act a certain way towards that student. I know this because I work at a school and I hear how other teachers gets when parents talk to admin about a teacher and student issue whether it is a small concern. I think if a parent wants their child to switch classes and it can be done then it should happen. The admin staff are really nice and again they answer emails and return phone calls quickly. Theres a lot offered at this school.Parent Review5y ago5 Reviews - Kelly Mill Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is not a clean school at all there is barely any janitors and most of them are extremely rude and the councilors are no help when you need them and the teachers are no help and barely teach a subject right and are extremely lazy and are no help when you ask and the bathrooms and hallways are extremely dirty and the school stinks and the school lunches are mid but there are barely any options to choose from i come home hungry every day that school needs some improvements.Student Review1y ago18 Reviews - Bridge Creek Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child was jumped by 2 other children. I was only aware of the situation by the nurse. Not the principal or his teacher. Even though this happened during the end of school the children were still allowed to go get on the bus to go home. There parents should have been called to pick them up and be fully aware immediately. The children punishment was in school suspension which is a light punishment for bullying and fighting. His teacher is often absent or leaving early and my son tells me often he had a substitute teacher. There has been a situation where I called the school and told them I will pick him up and when I came to get him he wasn't there. They let him walk home when I called ahead of time letting them know I was coming to pick him up. I would not recommend this school to anyone.Parent Review3mo ago10 Reviews - Check out schools near 115 Silent Mdws.

"Beautiful homes, great landscaping, safe!, can run, walk, ride bikes etc. people of all ages live around here. The club and Poole are beautiful. The Golf Course is well maintained. The roads are good. There are some potholes though. People drive the speed limit through the neighborhoods."

"It is very safe. There is no thru traffic in the sub sections. The homes are beautiful and owners take good care of their property. I have lived there since 2014 and have always felt safe. The walking trails are amazing. The club and pool are awesome if you want to join. "

"The area of Elgin where I currently reside, is quiet and I can literally count the number of cars that passes my home on any given day. My neighborhood is laid-back and I feel comfortable when I'm at home. And, I have some of the kindest neighbors that I've ever had."

"No sidewalks to walk dogs but most people are courteous enough to slow down while driving past people out walking their animals. However there are also several people who do not respect speed limits and drive way too fast for comfort. Not only on the back roads (which are usually 45-50 mph), but even in some of the neighborhoods too which are marked at 35 mph or slower. So it just depends on the specific area. Also it’s the country so people let their pets roam free which can occasionally cause issues for those walking leashed dogs. "

"There isn’t a dog park and there are not many dogs in our specific subdivision. I don’t own pets and I honestly don’t know what dog owners would like and not like about our neighborhood."

"Ive lived here for 16 years. This neighborhood is very friendly and we all care about each other. We take care of our properties and we will take care of our neighbors property when they are hurt or ill. Everyone rides golf carts and walks their dogs. It’s really great. "

"they're allowed. I have mine in a nice environment. on the back patio screened in in a large kennel. shaded. easy to keep clean. hes out of the heat. and the bugs cant get to him. he cant get into the ant killer I put down outside his pen. easy to bathe him. bugs dont get in his food. he has his own little living area. and that's one of the big things I'm looking for when buying a home. during the winter I can close it off to the winter elements and heat it. he has a house and bed. and plenty of room to play with all his toys and it gave him room to get to know my niece. I'm so glad his able to be apart of our family."

"Close to nearby shopping, restaurants, and groceries. Fairfield Electric has great rates and is a co-op. Is a great place to raise children, with a great school district and a choice as to which school you would like to enroll your children in."
