"Lots of dogs in the neighborhood. They are walked and people pick up after their dogs. Very dog friendly area. Yards are large so easy to fence in a space for a run."
  • Beadiepotter
"Limited public transportation but light traffic so driving is no issue. I can get from home to the Pittsburgh Airport in just over a half hour. It’s quite easy. Shopping is about 10 or 15 minutes."

"Small town, with a safe friendly vibe. I’ve lived here all my life. If you don’t like a big city this is a good place to live"
  • Dallas L.
"Nothing really.... they have a stores are close by and people keep to themselves for the most part. If you move here count on your car insurance going up cause the crime rate is higher here than surrounding neighborhoods..."

"ive lived in bloomingdale for 3 years and its a beautiful town, from wild deer to vast snowy hills and i always loved it here "
  • susanboyd461
"I MOVED TO BEAVER/MONACA PA AND CAME TO STEUBENVILLE, OH TO GET SOMETHING AT WALMART THAT WASNT IN STOCK AT OTHER STORES. I REALLY LIKE THE AREA AND THE TAXES ARE LOW. ONLY 1/2 HR TO PITTSBURGH AIRPORT. PRETTY VIEWS OF THE DISTANT HILLS I WOULD CONSIDER RETIRING HERE BECAUSE THE TAXES ARE LOW. AND ITS THE SAME DISTANCE TO PITTSBURGH, PA ABOUT 45 MINUTES AS THE PLACE I LIVE NOW. LOTS OF FISHING AND HIKING, CAMPING, HUNTING KIND OF AREA. "
