My daughter started the third grade at this school, we moved here from Florida. The teachers are all very welcoming. My daughter loves her school and teacher. What I like most about the school is that it's not so big, office staff remembered my name after my first visit. That made me feel great! The principal is Mrs. Kohler, very nice person always involved with school project. You can even find her helping the crossing guard, and lunch lady.

"I grew up near here and started going to Grand Island Senior High my Sophomore year to graduate, moved away for 19 years and now I live in G.I.! Of all the places I've lived over the years, I am the happiest here, and wish I had moved back long ago. There are things for every age group here, an excellent school system and a special education program that is the absolute best I've found. "
