"very high security school's, a police officer is on the premises every day,, we do need more rentals "
    • James W Schweer
"I have lived here for 6 years and love the area. Once you get away from Bennett where the casinos are it is very quiet. There are many festivals throughout the year, and many attractions to visit. The towns folks are friendly, and it is the only city I have lived in where there is a city shuttle service. As for entertainment value unless you gamble it is very limited."

"Get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy the small town atmosphere and some beautiful, real Colorado. "
    • Carrie N. M.
"This is an awesome area for those who want to live the true Colorado Lifestyle! Although the home is situated in a remote location, you cannot beat the amenities offered by the towns or the county. Roads are opened quickly after snow, entertainment opportunities abound either outdoor or in town, shuttles are available in Cripple Creek to take you to wherever you want to go, Florissant has museums, National Monuments, lots of rock hounding, and if you wish to Hunt, Fish, Camp, Hike, Ride or play in the National Forest, then this area is tops! "

"This is a fun place to live, hiking, fishing, hunting, gambling, rock hounding, mine tours and so much more. There is a really nice grocery store and a hardware store that seem to carry everything. Also some very nice shops that carry souvenirs, jewelry, home décor, fudge, ice cream, and lots, lots more. We are retired and have lived here for four years and have barely scratched the surface of things to do. "
