"It doesn’t have much. You have to drive at least 20 mins to go to a Walmart or decent fast food. All we have is Burger King and Starbucks and a few locally owned food joints and a severally overpriced grocery store "
  • Jodi
"it depends on if they live in town or out of town in the more rural areas. where I'm at the worst part isnt too bad. the cats tease my dog."
  • Fishermanmike
"great neighbors, zero crime, peaceful. routine police patrols, small town, not a noisy neighbor, everyone looks out for one another. "

"elma is cozy and right in the middle of where you need to be 20 miles to shelton 20 miles to Aberdeen ans 20 minutes to olympia. the weather is perfectly suited for growing whatever you want just dont forget your rain suit 😊"
  • Gordonbgood
"Right now I'm in an RV park in my motorhome. my neighbors are changing daily, along with their homes."
  • Deelaina M. C.
"Country living at its finest. My younger siblings, a niece, and my three children all graduated from Elma school district. We are on 10 acres outside of town so planning errands is important especially with rising gas prices. The deet and elk in the back yard makes it worth a little planning though. Nice community. "
  • Talya M.
"Lots of drug addicts, no sidewalks, driveways, or space to park in town, so you end up taking up the entire road on two way streets and taking turns allow oncoming vehicles to pass because two cars don't fit between the parked vehicles"
