About this House

Set high on the banks of the North Branch AuSable providing exceptional views both up and down stream of a peaceful horseshoe bend in the river. This gravel bottom stream sees limited commercial traffic making it ideal for wading and with some TLC to both the riverside dock and stairway, you can enter in and out of the water with ease. A true diamond-in-the-rough with obvious potential: 2 BR, 2 full baths, a four-season-porch, brick fireplace, and updated roof. There's plenty of storage between the attached garage, workshop, garden and wood sheds, plus a LP gas generator and concreete drive.

"Downtown has events pretty often, though I’ve never attended. This is also the kickoff point for the AuSable Canoe marathon, town is packed for this event and the downtown area is closed off the whole weekend to traffic for the festivities. "
  • Tara Sotirin
"It’s a friendly place and there’s a lot of community involvement. If there’s an event in town almost everyone shows up"
  • Tara Sotirin
"It’s a friendly atmosphere and lots of family events. A very active little town with lots of outdoor things to do and small to big events each month. We’ve enjoyed living here."
  • Uabadgirl687337
" Most families don't live here year around so it's quite. But when they come up on the weekends it nice to see children playing in the pool. "
  • Brian W.
"I have lived here for a year now. I'm from Ohio. I really like it here!! very small and quiet and plenty to do outside."
  • Talia_piper
"A lot of people walk the neighborhood with there dogs or kids. People are friendly and invite each other to bonfires or are willing to let your dog out if something comes up. Trustworthy and let a neighbor borrow something or help out with yard work. "
