A large pantry is located off of the kitchen and provides space for a washer and dryer. French doors with built in blinds open out on to a deck in the fenced in backyard.

The outside also includes a front porch with hookup for a swing, shade garden, and a two story shop in the backyard. Mature trees and landscaping accent the property. A private driveway is accessed at the front of the house and there is alley access to the backyard as well.

Located 1.5 miles from Drury and OTC, 2 miles from MSU. North of Chestnut Expressway on Broadway, 1121 N. Broadway Ave. Across the street from the Grant Beach Community Gardens. Not far from the Grant Beach Park and Pool.

For renting with pets there is a flat monthly pet fee of $25.

"I have loved living at South Valley Apartments. They are located in a very safe, quiet, and convenient location. They are very well priced comparatively. I like the fact that the complex is gated. They have also been recently renovated and look very nice. Maintenance has been pretty timely, and they have communicated very well regarding that. Amy is very communicative as well. She will send out messages about people losing pets asking for help to find them, maintenance going on, etc. I would highly recommend checking out these apartments for anyone looking. "

"This is my first year being here. Except for the construction next door, it's been very quiet and peaceful place to live. I haven't had to use maintenance, which is nice. The only thing I might change is improving the quality of building materials inside the apartments. None of my doors sit square in the frames except the front door. "

"Lots of dog friendly people but some people let their dogs and cats out loose with supervision and even though they’re usually friendly good dogs if you’re dogs aren’t super friendly or well trained might not be good to live in this area there are a lot of stray or lost dogs and cats as well "
