My child is on the spectrum (asd). We moved from the here and had nothing but bullying For my child being different. To the point students try to jump him on the bus. From what I was told by another student . We have reported the bullying many times . And handle it with words and nothing been done . The staff does’t listen to the child when they told them so the child stop asking for help .

This is a wonderful school with a great sense of community and pride! The students are loved and have great relationships with their teachers.

This school gave me everything I needed. Gleason prepared me for college while emphasizing key elements like responsibility and self-integrity. You cannot beat the “community” feel you get from being apart of the school.

This school hires and keeps inept teachers. They do not reach for student engagement and only focus on test numbers that are quite arbitrary. This school ignores threats made to gay students (myself) that involved bodily harm and even death. The facility staff violated do not contact orders on numerous occasions, and the staff only communicated with my father (the person who wasn’t supposed to know anything about my) to notify him that I am homosexual, which jeopardized my safety at home. This school will destroy your/your child’s mental state then punish the student for underperforming

They don't treat special needs students fairly nor do they know how to manage them. They are treated differently. The teachers tell kids they will not succeed.

The strongest academic school system in rural west TN

We have had 2 of our daughters at this school, one being special needs. The entire staff has been amazing with both of our kids. The small class sizes has help our daughter who was behind succeed where she would have been left behind in a larger school. The low score for the school is a reflection of it being so small and how testing is conducted not the results for the students.

It is horrible. They poorly prep you for the future. Yes if you plan of staying in BFE martin tn all your life then you will probably be fine. If you want to make something of yourself and move you will see just how hard it is to catch up with the rest of the country. My parents moved me to martin from chicago and i couldnt wait to leave the place the second i graduated, bad thing is my education i received from westview made it very hard to catch up. Luckily i worked hard and did it and WILL NEVER GO BACK.
