    "This area is a recreation paradise. Fish the gold-metal waters of the Rio Grande. Hiking and camping is just a step away. Some of the finest elk hunting in Colorado is available. The county is 95% public lands, so quality public property offerings are generally unique. In the winter there is an active snow-mobile club with over a hundred miles of groomed trails. In the summertime there is an active OHN vehicle club with frequent rides to beautiful places. In Creede, there are fine dining opportunities, and a nationally recognized repertory theater which is in "season" from June to late September. The area is wonderful for family living and vacations, with many third and fourth generations coming to learn and enjoy the majesty of this country. It is not Aspen ... it is not known for glitz and glitter and "styling". Rather, it is a remote area ... often referred to as one last truly magnificent get-a-way spots in America. "
