We are a nerdy, mostly quiet couple, looking for a roommate to fill our extra bedroom through August/September, with option to extend - perfect timing and location if you're a dorm student looking to stay in town over the summer!
About the House:
The rest of the house is fully furnished. We have our own washer and dryer, which you are, of course, welcome to use. Full driveway, so you won't be parking on the street if you'd rather not. Fenced in yard, if you're a bike-rider familiar with Denton's "found bike= my bike" policy. *Free wifi, (verizon fios), if you're not wanting the cable we already have.
If you want cable in your room, we'll get you a box, and split the internet/cable bill evenly three ways. The landlord lives next door but is very hands-off.
Utilities will be split three ways, and aren't usually any higher than $150 a person. You won't be paying any more than $650 a month all together, unless you want cable.

About Your Room:
Your room is all windows on one wall, and all closet on another. It's sunny, it's spacious, it comes with a SICK tapestry that hides wood paneled walls - it's going to look and feel good, no matter your aesthetic! It's large enough to fit a queen sized bed, dresser, and desk comfortably; if you've a full or twin bed, you'll have SO MUCH room for activities. Your room connects via locking door to the laundry room/backyard . That being said, we will never encroach on you or your space, and will happily work out laundry and outdoor times that fit your preferences.
The furniture pictured IS NOW GONE, but was a good example of the current setup. (Full bed, dresser, desk, recliner, with walking space to spare).
About Us:
We have a golden retriever, a black cat, and a 55 gallon fish tank. We host/play D&D most Tuesdays and Thursdays, so we will have guests over those evenings. (You're welcome to join!). We are an otherwise quiet couple - we go out to party, but only rarely bring it home. We like video games, D&D, tv shows, anime, board games, and gardening. As roommates, we like to share occasional 'family' meals (if you're into that; no pressure, if no!), and keep a clean and cozy home. We would prefer no more pets in the house, but both pets are well-trained and extremely friendly, so we're happy to meet your furry friend and negotiate, then.
About You:
Please, give us a brief about you when you contact us! Email or texting is preferred. This may be a short lease, but the happier we are together, the better! Please do not call, I will not answer. I am able to communicate by text and email, but I have received many calls during work hours, and I would prefer to not receive calls while I am at work.
