8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFirst things first, I graduated with the class of 2020, so I just want to say that nothing I write is out of spite for the fact that we graduated on a bad note. This school truly is a toxic nightmare. MHS completely changed my parents’ perspective on Mandeville as a town in general. You would think that, in a wealthy-ish, suburban town, the high school would be full of classy and well kept kids. MHS students are anything but. All four years there, we had major drug issues, and I mean MAJOR drug issues. The administration is also a tragic situation. An incompetent principal (Bruce Bundy) who has been there forever, and unfit security personnel. The only good thing about MHS is that violence was very minimal (no more than 5 fights a year), but other than that, this school needs to go.Parent Review2y ago - Mandeville Junior High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI LOVED this school for both of my children. Even though the school is huge with many children in the class I have never had communication issues with teachers, staff or leadership. Mr. Kelly goes above and beyond to make every child and family feel as if they are part of the school family. We moved recently and had to leave PES and our entire family was heartbroken. Out of two children who went there from Pre-K to 3rd grade, we loved every single teacher we had. Amazing school!Parent Review2y ago - Tchefuncte Middle School

"Don’t trust the judicial system. St.Tammany parish is all about that money honey! Property taxes are ridiculously outrageous! It seems after hurricane Katrina, a lot changed. New people, new attitudes, new accents, and covington grew into a concrete jungle. I live in the north rural part of Covington. It was a quiet town, but it seemed as if everyone knew on another or a family member etc. Parents: the schools are ridiculous now. They do not teach cursive writing in school anymore... I suggest homeschooling your children or sending them to a private school. "
