Contant chaos, tension, and every little thing is miserable in this school district. At some over the last several years the leadership for this district went down a path that has made everything about sending your kids to the schools in this district miserable. Unfortunately, despite changes in administrators and trying lots of new things like communication apps and tons of other changes, it doesn't seem to have improve our kid's environment. The biggest sign of the bad school environment is the huge number of teachers and staff that have left over the past few years which seems like it replaces seasoned teachers with recently graduated teachers who are still figuring things out as an educator. The areas that have been the worst for our kids in their last few years have been stability/ consistent routine, calm atmosphere, positive working environment for students and teachers, students with disabilities feeling like a burden to the schools, and tension that causes our kids anxiety daily. Bullying is a whole other major problem, but it usually isn't addressed as a problem being resolved as a whole because of how much of the regular day-to-day stuff is a much bigger daily problem. The experience has been like everyday everybody is focused on putting out fires, and the staff is working to survive the day or week, and they have been doing that for years and years now.

teachers for the most part are very good and caring. Administration on the other hand is a big problem. The principle hides in her office and does not seem to want to get involved if there is a problem and the VP believes in rule by intimidation. He is always right and has perfect kids of his own because he compares everyone to his. I have seen him in action, might be OK for a military school, but has no business in a public one
