My son is nonverbal. The school has created him to be someone he is not. Every other day he’s done things he’s never ever done at home. At first they OFFERED to allow us to bring groceries for my son to eat lunch every day (they have a kitchen in the classroom) but the first time my child ran out of food without them informing me.. & I asked to be informed before him running out next time. They told me it’s a special privilege for him to be prepared microwaved meals & I needed to bring him food every day. Even though the classroom has a kitchen. You speak with the higher ups in the school.. nothing gets done. It’s honestly sad. They place him in timeout even though he doesn’t have the mental capacity to understand why he’s being placed in timeout. 5 minutes per timeout. I would not recommend sending your disabled child to this school. They have asked what to do to get my child to stop “squealing”.. he’s nonverbal that’s how he communicates. It’s just sickening.

I love how well these teachers interact with the kids and make their learning environment so entertaining. I think the school is great with good staff and plenty of learning opportunities available. Great communication with families to keep all of us parents informed on events and schedules. I do recommend this school.
