5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLet’s making something clear, this school cares about one thing and one thing only, data. Your child’s academic success? Forget it. Your child’s emotional well being? Forget it. The place is notorious for losing staff members of all kind, specifically teachers. There is absolutely zero support from admin who repeatedly break union rules, rules that are in place to not only protect teachers but the students. On top of breaking their rules the school is consistently fighting the union and pushing out the representatives (there have been 3 for the 2023-2024 school year alone.) The principals contract is with Partnership for Los Angeles and not the Los Angeles Unified school District, due to this there seems to be a complete disregard and lack of respect for the guidelines and rules the district has in place. I truly could go on but my main piece of advice is whether you are looking for employment or student enrollment here, run, and run FAR away.Teacher Review1mo ago - Samuel Gompers Middle School
