What's more important than the questions asked above is that kids get almost no guidance to prepare for college. A lot of the kids there are just lost. Unless you have an older sibling or a parent who really knows the system. Kids have no idea how to prepare for college or life after school whatsoever. Kids of immigrants have no clue, reaching out to the consular is useless because they rarely answer, and never in a timely manner. Just setting kids up to fail in life, the way they do things, or more accurately, do not.

While this school is something, I am severely disappointed with the lack of emotion support in this school environment. I have some social issues, and most of the time I am never helped. Usually they just say I need a therapist and send me on my way. If your child is okay with councilors not caring and grades plummeting because teachers don’t care about putting in your grade, then send em on in. I was called into the office once and had a panic attack because I didn’t know why I was there. No one cared, no one even looked in my direction. Disappointing. DO BETTER.

All 3 of my children have attended this school starting in 2009 to present (2005). We have always had a great experience with teachers and staff. No school is going to be perfect. But Vaughan comes close.
