As a parent of two students, I appreciate that the school offers strong programs in arts, sports, and many extracurricular activities. Those opportunities are a real positive for the students.However, the administrative side is frustrating. The front office feels bureaucratic, and it’s almost impossible to speak with a counselor or staff member without waiting a week or more.In addition, the service at the front desk has felt unprofessional and unwelcoming at times unless you are PTA parent or such. Since it’s the first point of contact for parents, a more respectful and helpful attitude would make a big difference.Lastly, some classes assign an excessive amount of homework, even during school breaks, which doesn’t seem to consider students’ need for rest physically and mentally.

We currently have children in TK, 4th grade, and 5th grade, and our family has had a wonderful experience at this school. While ratings can only tell part of the story, our experience has been overwhelmingly positive.The administration truly cares about the students and their families. They spend countless hours supporting the school community and are always approachable, compassionate, and focused on student success. The counselor is exceptional and deeply committed to the well-being of the children, providing support that goes far beyond expectations.The teachers have been outstanding. We would especially like to recognize Mr. J, Mrs. Soto, Mrs. Pfannenstiel, and Ms. Lavender for their dedication, encouragement, and commitment to helping students grow academically and personally.One thing we particularly appreciate is the school’s emphasis on project-based learning. Students are encouraged to think critically, collaborate with their peers, solve real-world problems, and apply what they learn in meaningful ways. This approach has helped our children stay engaged and excited about learning.The office staff is top-tier—welcoming, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. Special recognition goes to Mrs. Ursula and Mrs. Michelle for creating such a positive experience for families. The school nurse is also one of the sweetest people you could meet and communicates exceptionally well with parents.As my oldest child prepares to move on to 6th grade, I am grateful for the opportunities this school has provided. He was able to attend the Verizon STEM Camp at California State University San Bernardino, and throughout his time here he has participated in robotics, coding, financial literacy courses, and other enriching activities. The school does an excellent job of providing a well-rounded education that combines strong academics, project-based learning, and real-world lessons that help prepare students for the future.We are thankful to be part of this school community and highly recommend it to families looking for a supportive environment where students are genuinely cared for, challenged to grow, and encouraged to succeed.
