"People control their dogs really well. Cats are another thing. No restrictions that are reformed exist in my neighborhood."
    • Mmjdchamp
"It is a wonderful and safe place to raise a family, one hour from montreal, one hour from lake placid and one hour from lake Champlain. It is a hidden gem"
    • Jymh007
"Quiet and rural, but only 4 minutes from downtown. I have more Tractor and ATV traffic than car traffic on my road any given day. "
    • Revetteb
"There are many street lights with long waiting periods and pot holes, especially after the winter season. The local road crew is slow to patch/re-pave the roads. Avoid driving through town during school/work rush hours as there is no alternative route through the town. There are many historic but vacant/abandoned buildings observed through the town. There are usually many pedestrians. Sidewalks are uneven. Traffic is usually high and it can take you more than 30 minutes to get through town during certain times of day. The commute is honestly the biggest downfall of the town. There are no bike paths and in some areas no sidewalks so pedestrians walk along the side of the road. The lines currently need to be painted. There are many lanes of traffic so if you aren’t from the area it might be confusing to drive through. Road construction begins at the most inopportune times, for example the start of the fair, school year, during graduation weekend, holidays, etc."
    • Kayepea24
"It’s a small place, basic needs like grocery, church, school are very accessible. Safe for kids to walk from school to home"
    • Leevanderwiel
"Commuting is simple. Light traffic. Roads are maintained. I commute 45 miles outside of MALONE. Traffic is minimal "
    • Heather P.
"Commute times are reasonable, traffic is never usually to bad. A car is necessary to get around as many things are spaced out and we do not have a very good taxi/ public transportation service."
    • bluegreen73
"its quiet, its calm and its very private. not alot of traffic on this road"
