Neighborhood Description

This is the friendlist place we have ever lived. Most neighbors are retired but not all. The whole of Diamond Point is improving very quickly. It used to be a Quarantine Station for all shipping coming into the Puget Sound Region. The main Surgeons Quarters is a historic beautiful home that is just below our home and is lovely to look out on. There is a private airport at the top of the hill with hangers if you are a pilot. Most of the neighborhood is made up of retired airline pilots and retired Boeing employees. Lots of wildlife, a mated pair of bald eagles lives accross the street and are a thrill to watch each day. There are red foxes that are seen most days and quail and hundreds of wild birds feed at the feeders below the large great room & sun room windows. Numerous black tail deer roam the neighborhood and can be seen daily.

    "This area is a fairly quiet place to live. The area is far enough away from downtown to not be congested, but close enough to be convenient to all major shopping on Washington ST. There is a local neighborhood park nearby, and although Fifth Ave is used as a shortcut to Sequim AVE, it's manageable. Really, this area is okay for anyone, but they should be open minded for young families and/or families with young children as the area seems to have quite a few."
