6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHello! I am a former student at Huntington middle school (went for all grades 6-8). I will try to keep this completely unbiased as possible, and note:This review is just what I have experienced and seen, it might not be the same for your child or any other student. The things I want to talk about are: the teachers, student support, and bigotry. (Plus a few extra things I want to nitpick about)I’m already going to start with the elephant in the room. Out of all three grades, I have only felt comfortable with 4 out of my 12 core class teachers. Most teachers are either subtly disrespectful, messy, or just uncaring. Anywho, most teachers in this school will not get along with you (or even acknowledge you) if you’re not extremely outgoing and talkative to them. For the next topic, I’m just going to come out and say student support is kind of.. hidden. There are some, though, for example the counselors who do a pretty great job. But in general, there’s not much they do. Again, I am going to use an anecdote-Back in 6th grade I was in a state of slight depression, and ended up doing some things I really regret. The teachers found out and they tried to support me at best, but after a week or two they just. Completely forgot. I wasn’t asked if I needed accommodations when I ranted to the counselor and the one I had at the time downplayed my experiences. I now believe that if your kids need extra help + any accommodations, you will have to use some extra convincing and fighting for it.The last thing I want to talk about is bigotry. One of my 6th grade teachers made a subtle statement about how being LGBTQ+ is a sin, and as a kid in the community… that hurt. Also mentioning, the students are also bigoted. Throughout my 3 years I have been the target of homophobic, racist, and misogynistic language. Even when the teachers hear it, they don’t care an ounce about it. Nothing is done- no ISS or a write-up, it’s just a slap on the wrist like “Hey don’t say that!!!”. For three years I have felt unwanted here, because the staff disregard any hateful comments as another interaction between students.Overall, distasteful. I wish I could say more but there’s word limit :<I encourage all current and future students to make their school experiences as good as possible; and don’t be afraid to speak up about anything!Other Review1mo ago41 Reviews - Warner Robins High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageVery since I graduated from Warner Robins High School. The teachers I had they do care about you and your learning and growing to keep pushing you, to be great. I love this school very proud alumni 07 but I can't wait for my son to go to Warner Robins High. But right now he had a long way to go he is only in elementary.Other Review3mo ago9 Reviews - Hilltop Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has been at this school for 5 years. Pre-k and kindergarten we had no problems and excellent teachers that communicated greatly. Since 1st grade we have had multiple problems with proper communication with the teachers and them addressing parents concerns. I feel like the teachers let the electronics do most of the teaching and some maybe all start treating 2nd graders like they are in middle school, with way more than enough homework that can take my child almost 2 hrs to do after school. My child has become stress and also develop depression not just from the work but bullies that are not being address as they should be. I feel as the principal does not communicate or address parents concerns or she picks and choosen which parents she addresses, which is not ok. Especially when you leave messages and get no return call. Also, I feel this School cares more about money than they do education. Every week this school is asking parents for money and having multiple events in one week and dont even consider the parents that might cant afford or be able to Participate. And I know no parent wants their child to be the only one without or not able to Participate since they asked for money for multiple things, like I said in just ONE week, and not even considering how that can make some children feel when the parents cannot do it.Or the teachers not communicating with the parents and the parents don't even know about it until after the fact. I also believe that the school will pick favoritism's and the parents that do the PTO they will address their concern. But any other parent they put last , which is not okay nor is right. Now i am very familiar with this school for 18 years now . At first was a great school for my other child but have watch every year get worst with the principal and communication and the educationParent Review7mo ago19 Reviews - Check out schools near 109 Wright Ln.

"I always have an Easy in and out! Never are we dealing with a lot of traffic. Things are pretty calm over here. I like that it doesn’t feel congested when driving on the road nor is there a lot of cars passing through the neighborhood. Peaceful and quiet!"

"Commute is 8 miles to base. You need a car because there is no public transportation here. You see a lot of people walking and bicycling in our area which is part of Warner robins & Kathleen. Just a few miles to Perry, ga and 24 miles to Macon, ga. Re estate market is strong here and has been steady for years. Good area to buy investment rental homes. Always needed by military in the area since some prefer to rent and not buy."

"Nothing, absolutely nothing. The weather is nice most of the time. Neighbors are nice to your face, but some are rather inconsiderate. They shoot off fireworks for two weeks before a holiday, then for two weeks after the holiday, always after 9pm."

"This neighborhood or zone is one of the most quiet, well maintained, community friendly zones I've ever seen. The homes in Riverbend are spread apart more than most neighborhoods and provide a lot of peace and quiet. Very family friendly neighborhood with excellent school systems! "
