Terrible school. Majority of Teaching staff are clicky, & gossipy. As if they're the students. It makes for low confidence in students when youre being called names or your family is being discussed negatively right in front of you. Many teachers also call names yell frequently and use poor language when addressing students. They tend to isolate kids from their friends by engaging invgossip with the other children. I wasnt avvictim, but was not please seeing this routinely. Time not wealthily spent on children. Special Education? What special ed? Hardly a team of support for children actually in need. Environment safety: i would say the staff isnt scarey in physical safety term, but the way they treat kids... in these times.. I'd worry about the way someone might respond someday. Family engagement: doesn't happen. More like they treat the parents like kids too, make decisions without them, or give orders without proper communication and discussions with family

We moved to the area from a larger city and are incredibly thankful for the experience our children have received thus far. What immediately caught our attention is that the students hold the door open for other students as they are entering the school! Respect, consideration and care for others shine through as core tenets of the school. The administration, teachers and staff are delightful - they know every student’s name and support them as individuals. Not to mention - the school has a brand new pool (swimming is part of the physical education curriculum), hundreds of acres of land with hiking trails (it’s amazing getting app updates showcasing photos of my child hiking through the woods for recess), and a five-day-per-week 4-K program (which includes free childcare in the afternoons)! Plus, their music program is outstanding. We can’t say enough great things about Kickapoo!
