8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat's more important than the questions asked above is that kids get almost no guidance to prepare for college. A lot of the kids there are just lost. Unless you have an older sibling or a parent who really knows the system. Kids have no idea how to prepare for college or life after school whatsoever. Kids of immigrants have no clue, reaching out to the consular is useless because they rarely answer, and never in a timely manner. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhile this school is something, I am severely disappointed with the lack of emotion support in this school environment. I have some social issues, and most of the time I am never helped. Usually they just say I need a therapist and send me on my way. If your child is okay with councilors not caring and grades plummeting because teachers don’t care about putting in your grade, then send em on in. I was called into the office once and had a panic attack because I didn’t know why I was there. No one cared, no one even looked in my direction. Disappointing. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAfter rezoning, Allen ISD treats this school as Title 1, but not officially.If your kid is in 3rd or 5th grade (23/24 school year), my condolences. Your kid would be in the terrible environment of uncontrollable kids.Allen ISD and the school administration are trying to avoid resolving the issue, thinking that these kids will leave for middle school eventually and they will be relieved.Teachers aren't getting any meaningful support so kids who are ready for education would get it. They have decided that gathering kids with behavioral issues together and not helping them is a game changer. Teachers are exhausted and dreaming for a job change, some even want to switch professions.I'm really sorry for homeowners who stuck with this school. And really sorry for AIM kids who stuck in this. Hope middle school will be a relief for them.Your taxpayers dollars are thrown to the trash.Parents often aren't interested in their kids' day-to-day life in school.Welcome to the City of Allen ...Other Review1y ago
