Polk City is a quiet sleepy town that has the necessities close by. 24 hour gas stations, a dollar general that's open till 10pm every night is within walking distance. Roads are bike/walk friendly. We have Van Fleet Trail that is a excellent walk / bike pathway that goes to Auburndale and up towards Dade City. Plenty of good lakes for fishing. I live on a good lake for bass. "
